gas law

Have you ever encountered this formula?

P V =  n R T

Before you get bored and leave this post in haste, let me guide you through a rundown of my previous posts on gases for the past ten days:

  1. gas

  2. gas the sequel

  3. gas pt. 3

  4. gasgas

  5. lagas

  6. welGA(s)

  7. g.a.s.

  8. panghimaGAS

  9. GASa

  10. gas law (this post)

If you missed any of the said posts, you may just scan through the page to find them or simply click on the linked title of the blogpost.   Am keeping my fingers crossed that they’d be worth your while…

Now back to the formula:

It is said that the state of an amount of gas is determined by its pressure, volume, and temperature. The modern form of the equation (commonly known as the ideal gas law) is:

pV = n R T

where p is the absolute pressure of the gas; V is the volume; n is the amount of substance; R is the gas constant; and T is the absolute temperature. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideal_gas_law).

Hopefully the same formula would stand true to this blog:

    • Wow, big time!
God bless you too!
